10:30 pm
I was extremely tired, had a long day. I listened to a Sleepytime Gorilla Museum album for about the umpteenth time today.
Type: Normal Dream
I was in some busy courtyard. The ground was made of interlocking stone, and all of the surrounding buildings were old and crumbling.
I had a video camera and I was following around some woman. She was speaking of some documentary that seemed to be about student rights, or something similar. I held the camera near the ground, trying to get an interesting shot, filming as I rushed around the busy courtyard, weaving between all the people.
We finally got to the bottom of a small set of stairs in another part of the courtyard where she made her conclusion to the camera. Right after this, the tape in the camera just went up in a little poof of smoke. I told her, and suggested the only solution was to go back and pick up all of the prints that the camera had made (for some reason) of the frames as we filmed.
I turned around the ground of the courtyard was filled with pieces of paper, like photographs, of the stuff I had just been filming. I remember yelling something to the large crowd, and suddenly everyone was busy helping me pick up these pieces of paper -- I knew the order didn't matter.
By the end of picking them up, more and more people were giving them to me all torn and tattered, but I thought they'd still be salvageable. Looking at some of them, they looked very much like artistic photography and I was excited about what I could do with all of them.
Afterwards, a small crowd gathered and I was about to play them a song on an acoustic guitar I had...
Then my alarm went off and I woke up.

8:11 am
I woke up knowing that I had dreamed, but I could remember what about. I closed my eyes and didn't move and just focused on it, and remember that I was "collecting something". I focused on that thought and soon many of the details of the dream came instantly back to me.

11:00 pm
I was really tired. I began listening to some Porcupine Tree again. I spent almost an hour listening the music before I realized and should really focus on getting to sleep.
Type: Normal Dream
I was late for one of my classes. I remember running into this building and looking for a seat. The building looked more like a big chalet than a modern classroom. It had wood floors, wood walls, and very high ceilings.
There were no empty seats available. I was getting worried because the professor had already began teaching. Eventually I did find a seat. Everyone was working on some sort of programming assignment. I didn't know what to do, so I had to ask someone sitting next to me. They explained it -- I don't remember what, it had something to do with converting numbers -- so I tried my best to complete it. Everyone was finishing before me, which was strange. Eventually the professor came around to mark it and I didn't do very well.
Afterwards, the professor began talking about music. Only, he started talking about these musical theory terms that seemed really complicated and unfamiliar to me. Everyone else seemed to understand except me. After that he began discussing these books that everyone else had seem to have read but me, so I didn't have a clue.
Finally, it seemed, the professor was starting some sort of band with the class. He was recruiting anyone who could play an instrument. It seemed he was asking everyone else but not me, so I offered to join. From what I remember, there were just a bunch of students with guitars standing around and doing their own thing. After everyone left, the professor went to recruit two more people, so I practiced on my guitar. When he got back, he explained to the new people that we were going to be a band of a huge mix of genres.
Then I woke up.

A lot of this probably has to do with the fact that I had been studying for midterms so much earlier in the day.
I woke up extremely tired, but after a bit of walking around I felt better.

11:40 pm
I put on a Porcupine Tree CD and just laid back. I was really tired, so I fell asleep rather quick.
Type: Normal Dream
I was at some sort of playground with my brother. I was following him around while all the playground equipment looked very bizarre, large, and colourful. To top it all off, as I was walking around it was all being narrated by Dave Chappelle.
I remember walking to one part of the playground and coming across some magazine on the ground. It was some magazine about celebrities, and it was on a page that seemed to ask 6 celebrities one question and they all gave their answers. I didn't see what the question was or what any of the answers were. The page was so white it was almost hard to look at.
I was then taken to some sort of device on the factory that was constantly making some sort of jawbreaker candy. The only thing is that they were huge. They were the size of basketballs. I tried to bite into one, but only the outside was solid, so the liquid on the inside splashed on me. I remember describing it to someone as, "they're not done, it's like molten candy on the inside!"
Then I woke up.

I woke up earlier than I had wanted, but I was just glad I was able to recall one of my dreams for the first time in a very long while. I ended up falling back asleep and waking up an hour later. During that time I recall having some sort of hypnogogic dream, but I can't recall what it was at this time.

1:00 am
The first time I've felt able to stay up late and be really tired before I went to bed. I was out with a few people at the bar beforehand.
Type: Normal Dream
As with the majority of my dreams, it was unusually dark out, like pre-storm weather. I was at school (my old public school?) and there were a whole bunch of other people there. We were all at the baseball diamond and we set up formation to play a game.
My team was up to bat first, so I started to go and pick a bat to use. There were so many, at least 3 dozen, and I couldn't seem to find the right one. Most of them seemed too heavy to swing fast enough. I now realize how realistic most of that felt, and how each bat I picked up was surprisingly different in feeling and weight. Eventually I found a bat that wasn't too heavy, it was really strangely shaped. It had an unusually thin handle that almost felt like it would snap if I used it, and the opposite end was unusually thick, almost ball-like in the the way it buldged out.
After one person had gone up to bat and made it to first base, the next batter was someone who clearly didn't know what they were doing, so everyone in the field came way in. They walked up almost within 10 feet of the batter, clearly in a mocking fashion. As they did this, the person on first stole bases all the way to third, and I remember screaming out and cheering as he did it.
Just as I was to get on base the game ended and we all had to pack up our stuff (at the teachers request?).

It's very likely that I dreamed about this because I had chatted with one of Bre's friends named Andrew about baseball for a little while at the bar earlier that night.

1:30 am
Went to bed after getting home from seeing Lady in the Water (which, by the way, wasn't too bad).

I don't remember much, but I was in some sort of business building, in what I sensed to be Los Angeles, California. I was looking out a window, possibly on some balcony, and I remember looking over and seeing a really large coastline. There were crashing waves, mountains in the distance, the sun was setting, and every was so serene -- very much unlike what I've ever heard of L.A.
I woke up shortly after.

My mom had waken me up to drive her to work at 8:30, and I remember waking up and wishing I didn't have to get up. The whole scene was so beautiful.
I came back by 9:30 and went back to sleep. I figured I would dream again and remember, but no such luck.
I was lucky to even remember anything, as it's been impossible the last few weeks. Too much stress I guess. It was the first time I was able to sleep in for a while.
